Tim E. Szalkowski, age 67, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away surrounded by his family, on January 19, 2023, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. He was born on January 10, 1956, in Vero Beach, Florida, to the late Thomas and Betty (Heilman) Szalkowski.

Tim graduated from Anthony Wayne High School, class of 1974, and during that time, he attended Penta County Vocational School. Tim drove trucks all of his life and had been employed with Stallantis FCA Chrysler. When he was not working, he enjoyed fishing, tractor pulls, and anything car related! Whether it was classic cars, NASCAR, or sprint cars. Most of all, he loved his kids and supporting them in all of their endeavors. His smile and love will forever be remembered. This isn’t goodbye, it’s see you later…

Those left to forever cherish his memory are his loving children, Andrea Szalkowski, Corey Szalkowski, and Kyle Szalkowski; and a sister, Julie Szalkowski.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Luann Szalkowski.

Family and friends may visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3655 King Road, Toledo, Ohio 43617, on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Tim’s funeral service will take place on Thursday, January 26, 2023, at 10:00 am, at the funeral home. Tim will be laid to rest at Highland Memory Gardens.
