She was a graduate of Woodward High School in 1965. Judy retired in 2011 after working as a hairdresser at many different salons throughout her career. She enjoyed golfing, going to the casino, playing Uno with her grandkids, and watching Disney movies. Most of all, Judy treasured the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, David Varnes; siblings, Patricia Howe, James Baker, Thomas Shabbit, Lonnie Baker, and sister Ruby; and best friend, Elizabeth "Lizzie" Davis. Judy is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Varnes; adoring grandchildren, Heyleigh, Logan, Johnny, Jayson, and Ciara; great-granddaughter, Naeomi Skye Varnes; sister, Donna Alexander; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
The family will receive guests on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 from 2 - 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer - Southwest Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Thursday, December 1, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
Those wishing to make a memorial contribution are asked to consider Judy's daughter and grandchildren.
