1960 - 2022

Randy Joe Bruce, age 62, of Toledo, passed away November 17, 2022 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Toledo. He was born July 28, 1960 in Toledo to Louis and Lois (Sattler) Bruce. Randy owned and operated Bruce Group Mechanical LLC for over 14 years. He was a mentor for his son and nephews in developing their technical skills. Randy could often be found helping his family and friends with their household mechanical issues, he was always willing to lend a helping hand. Randy loved being outdoors, camping, spending time on the river, fishing, riding his bike, and spending time with his large extended family, many close friends and his dogs "Lexi" and "Bailey."

In addition to his parents, Randy was also preceded in death by his wife, Melanie Bruce; and brother, Scott Bruce. He is survived by his children, Kristin Bruce, Mark Bruce and Jennifer (Joe) Kidder; grandson, Brody Kidder; siblings, Louis Bruce, Matthew Bruce, Debbie (Louie) Nemer and Michael (Christina) Bruce; sister-in-law, Becky Bruce; god-son, Josh Bruce and many special and loved nieces and nephews.

The family will receive guests Tuesday, November 22, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). The Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Maumee Catholic Church, 104 West Broadway Street, Maumee (please meet directly at church). Interment will follow in Fort Meigs Cemetery, Perrysburg, OH.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Toledo Area Humane Society in Randy's memory.
