Dale Lynn Klar, 61, of Maumee, Ohio was called home to heaven on November 16, 2022. Dale was born on March 26, 1961 to the late Ordell and Darlene Klar. Dale worked many years at the Holland Road Lott Industries. He had many passions but karate was at the forefront. Earning several belts and competing in competitions he found his sweet spot. Dale also loved superheroes and collecting DVDs. He was his families Superman.

Left to cherish his memory is his brother, Mike Klar (Beth “Wonder Woman” Gleason) and sister Deborah Jacques; nieces and nephews Tasha Bourgeois (Eric Nelson), Matt (Ruth) Wrzesinski, Amanda (Chad) Welborne , George Jacques III, Erin Johnson (Breon Turner) , and Jarred (Chelsea) Klar, his great niece and nephews, aunts and uncle, Diana Romano, LeeAnn (Al) Obst and Judy Klar as well as numerous cousins and friends.

The family would like to extend a thank you to his amazing Ohio Living Hospice nurse and special friend Julia Morse.

The family will receive guests Monday, November 21, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The family will also receive guests Tuesday, November 22, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral at 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park Cemetery.
