Donald O. Bowman, Jr., age 68, of Swanton, Ohio passed away on October 1, 2022. He was born on January 30, 1954 in Toledo, Ohio to Donald Sr. and Joan Bowman. Donald retired from Local 50 in 2007, after working as a plumber/pipefitter for 30 plus years. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing and spending time at his beloved property up north. Donald also enjoyed bowling for many years, achieving two 300 games, one 800 series, and multiple other honor scores. His family was always a priority and he enjoyed every moment he spent with his grandchildren. Donald was always willing to help anyone in need and his kindness and stubbornness will be missed.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, John Bowman; and other beloved family members. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 49 years, Anna Bowman; children, Theresa Gray, Valerie Bowman, and Donald (Andrea) Bowman; grandchildren, Derek, Addison, Miranda, and Olivia. Also surviving are his siblings, Donna (Bruce) Leiner and Joe (Pam) Bowman; and other family members and friends.

The family will receive guests on Sunday, October 9, 2022 at Newcomer Funeral Home – West Sylvania Chapel, 3655 King Rd, Toledo, from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 am on Monday, October 10, 2022 in the funeral home. Interment will immediately follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
