Walter “Butch” Nino, passed away October 3, 2022 at University of Toledo Medical Center. Butch spent his life pitching softball and playing dartball for teams in Toledo. He held many records and was proud of his accomplishments. Butch loved all sports, especially the Detroit Tigers and Detroit Lions, he never missed a game. He retired from the former MCO in 2001 and also drove truck for Okun Produce for many years.

Butch was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Genevieve; and sisters, Helen, Shirley, Patricia, Ramona, Virginia, Mary and Jean. He is survived by his wife, Barbara; children, Walter “Butchie” (Stella), Tina (Mike), Lisa (Simon), Armando (Connie), Julian (Shanna) and Kyla (Keenan); 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; and K-9 companion, “Vida.”

The family will receive guests Sunday, October 9, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. Toledo (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Monday, October 10, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
