In Memory Of
James A. "Jim" Hatkowski
1958 - 2022

James (Jim) A. Hatkowski, age 64, resident of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2022. He was born on June 14, 1958, in Toledo, Ohio, to the late Alvin and Madeline (Hohn) Hatkowski.

Jim was a graduate of Central Catholic High School. A very talented artist, he worked at Cosco Graphics, as a graphic designer, for 32 years. Jim was an avid fisherman and enjoyed cooking delicious meals, playing billiards, and tending to his garden. Jim would do anything for anybody; he would take the shirt off his back if he knew it would be helping someone out. He supported every charity you can think of, knowing every little bit helps. He was a loving father, grandfather, and brother. His smile, kind heart, and love will forever be missed. Until we meet again…

Those left to forever cherish his memory are his loving children, Alice (Jose) Thomas and James Hatkowski; grandchildren, Keavon Thomas, Serenity Thomas, Emily Hurst, James Hatkowski, Terra Hatkowski, and Desmond Brewington.

He was preceded in death and greeted in Heaven by his parents, Alvin Hatkowski and Madeline (Hohn) Ferris.

Family and friends may gather at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 West Laskey Road, Toledo, Ohio 43623, on Monday, October 3, 2022, from 12:00 pm until the time of his funeral service at 5:00 pm, with Fr. Auth officiating.
