In Memory Of
Paul William "Bill" Moore
1929 - 2022
Bill was an avid camper, he particularly enjoyed visiting Interlochen State Park with his family. He and Betty enjoyed going on numerous cruises, wintering for weeks in Florida, and many road trips east, west, north, and south. For their 50th wedding anniversary they travelled to Great Britain, and for Bill’s 90th birthday they celebrated aboard a cruise ship with the whole family.
Bill held a deep respect for all God’s creatures, and love for his faithful dogs that were beside him throughout his life. He enjoyed playing cards, and looked forward to monthly poker and bridge games for over 40 years with the same two groups of friends. Bill most enjoyed get togethers with his beloved children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Surviving are children, Joseph (Martha) Moore and Catherine (Robert) Briggs; beloved grandchildren, Shelbie (John) Flegal, Jamie (Bailey) Briggs, Lauren (Jonathan) Roth, and Benjamin (Moira) Moore; great-grandchildren, Lillie, Bowen, and Summit; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Luallen; niece, Andrea (Victor) Egg; and nephew, Eric Luallen. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother-in-law, James Luallen.
The family will receive guests on Monday, September 26, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home – Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd, Toledo (419-473-0300).
