Veronica Katherine Latkofsky, age 84, of Point Place/Shoreland, passed away September 13, 2022, at Kingston Care Center of Sylvania. Veronica was born March 12, 1938, in Toledo to Charles and Mary (Tyminski) Hardy. Veronica was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Parish and a member of the Knights of Columbus in Toledo, Ohio. She was known for her feisty spirit, often telling it how it was. Veronica enjoyed home canning, baking, crocheting, and gardening, but most of all, she loved spending quality time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Veronica was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, Charles E. Latkofsky. She is survived by her daughters, Kathrine (Daniel) Losek, Laurie (Michael) Mangan, and Patricia A. Fox; grandchildren, Daniel (Jennifer) Losek, Marc (Terri) Losek, Jennifer (Jeff) Weiss, Amanda (Andrew) Holmes, Elizabeth Mangan, Kelly Mangan, Michael (Samantha) Fox and Ashlee Fox; 10 great grandchildren plus one in the oven, and a host of family and friends.

The family would like to thank the Staff at Kingston Care Center and Hospice of Northwest Ohio-Perrysburg for the dedicated care and love given to Veronica. A special thank you to Shoreland Fire Department for their lift and assist service.

The family will receive guests Monday, September 19, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - West Sylvania Chapel, 3655 King Rd. (419-392-9500) with a Scripture Service being recited at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Prayers will begin Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home followed by Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 6149 Hill Ave, Toledo, OH 43615. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Toledo.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio-Perrysburg in Veronica's memory.
