Anthony “Tony” Ray Collins, age 65, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 29, 2022. He was born on June 17, 1957, to Calvin and Sandra Faye (Bell) Collins in Toledo, Ohio.

Anthony graduated from Maumee Valley Country Day, Texas A & M University, and Sergeant Majors Academy. He served 14 years of Active Duty, 9 years of Army Reserve for 23 years of Honorable Service and retired as a Command Sergeant Major in 2013 from the United States Army.

Some of his favorite pastimes included attending various concerts, traveling across the world, and attending every sporting event he could. Anthony was a die-hard Ohio State University fan. He was known for his articulate verbiage, quick wit, his infectious smile, and his compassionate spirit for life. He had a huge personality and shared it with everyone around him. Above everything his family was his pride and joy, never letting them forget how proud of them he was.
