John Robert Blaine, age 87, of Maumee, OH, passed away August 2, 2022 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Toledo. John was born March 6, 1935 in Marseilles, IL to John and Roberta (Byrnes) Blaine. He was employed with the Libbey Owens Ford for more than 38 years. John also served four years in the Navy and 15 years on the Waterville Ohio Fire Department. He was a diehard Chicago Cubs and Bears fan.
In addition to his parents, John was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 61 years, Ann Blaine. He is survived by his daughter, Lori Hutchison; son, Robert (Kaleigh Clarahan) Blaine; grandchildren, Kaitlin (Dan) Bower, Kerrigan Hutchison, and Joshua Blaine.
The family will have a celebration of life at a later date for John and Ann.
The family would like to thank Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Ohio Assisted Living and Perrysburg Mercy Hospital for the exceptional care.
