Ross L. Carr Sr., age 88, resident of Monclova, Ohio, passed away and went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at Otterbein Skilled Nursing and Rehab. He was born on June 29, 1934, in Lansing, Michigan, to the late Thomas Carr and Lula (Vance) Grams.

Ross graduated from Lansing Eastern High School, class of 1953. He furthered his education at University of Toledo, graduating with an Associate’s degree. He had worked in sales at McNaughton-McKay, retiring in 2000. After retirement, he worked as an usher for the Toledo Mud Hens and the University of Toledo’s football and basketball team. Ross volunteered for many years for Retired Senior Volunteer Patrol, for the Toledo Police Department. He worked at Southwyck Mall, Northtowne Mall, the Toledo Mud Hens, as well as private family get togethers, as Santa Claus, where he enjoyed seeing the children light up with smiles and excitement. He was a wonderful son, brother, husband, dad, grandpa and great grandpa, and will truly be missed by all who knew him.
