Jean L. Sweet
1928 - 2022

Jean L. (Eisenbrandt) Sweet, peacefully went home to be with our Lord and Savior, Friday, July 29, 2022, surrounded by her loved ones. Jean was born December 26, 1928 in Toledo, Ohio to Lester and Bertha Eisenbrandt and had 9 siblings. She was a loving wife of 74 years to her husband, Vernon L. Sweet who preceded her in death in 2017. Jean was a caring and loving mother and grandmother to her daughter, 4 sons, 16 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. She always cherished being surrounded by her family. Jean also loved working on her many flower gardens, playing cards with her family, antiquing and traveling. Her smile, spirit and caring nature will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Left to cherish Jean’s memory are her daughter, Bonnie Smith; son, Ronald (Susan) Sweet; sister, Ann (Robert) Futey; brothers, Doug (Barb) Eisenbrandt and Wayne Eisenbrandt; daughters-in-law, Patricia Sweet and Catherine Sweet. She was preceded in death by her sons, Jimmy Sweet, Michael (Judy) Sweet, David Sweet, and Terry Smith; and siblings, Betty Eisenbrandt, Bob Eisenbrandt, Donald Eisenbrandt, Norm Eisenbrandt, Yvonne (Eisenbrandt) Brown and Rod Eisenbrandt.

The family will receive guests on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – West Sylvania Chapel, 3655 King Rd., Toledo, OH 43617 (419-392-9500) with Funeral Services beginning at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
