Richard A. Mish of Toledo, OH crossed to the gates of Heaven at the age of 52 on July 15, 2022. He was born on December 26, 1969 to Richard Mish and Darlene Hankinson. Rich’s sense of humor and positive personality could bring a smile to anyone’s face. He was always singing, dancing, and joking around. He was proud to be “tik-tok famous”. Despite being on dialysis for 29 years, he never lived a day without laughing.
Above all, Rich loved his family and was the best father to his children and a loving husband to his wife Melissa of 29 years. He is loved by his family and will be eternally missed. Rich loved classic cars and was proud to own several Cadillacs over the years. He also had a love for food and was always snacking. Rich volunteered at his children’s schools and the Kidney Foundation of Northwest Ohio for many years.
Richard is survived by his dedicated wife, Melissa Mish; loving children, Olivia and Darren Mish; siblings, Robert Mish and Rita Mish; mother-in-law, Connie Makras; brothers-in-law, George (Kim) Makras and Michael Makras; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by son, Richard A. Mish Jr.; his parents; father-in-law George Makras; and step-father Ed Miller.
Family and Friends are invited to a Celebration of Life which will be planned at a later date.
