James C. “Jamie” Tilton, age 60, of Toledo, passed away peacefully Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Arbors at Oregon. He was born on June 4, 1962 to James and Evelyn Tilton in Toledo. Jamie was raised on a farm in Whitehouse, Ohio where he learned a strong work ethic. He was a jack of all trades, and drove truck for many years and was also a mechanic at various places. Jamie enjoyed riding his motorcycle, playing video games, and collected remote control cars. He loved spending time with friends and family. Jamie’s spirit and caring nature will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Janis Tilton; and 1 sister. Left to cherish his memory are his loving children, Samantha and A.J. Tilton; brother, Jeff (Mandy) Tilton; special cousin, Mark (Peggy) Lowe; sister-in-law, Joyce Hill; best friend, Cindy Forbes and her children, Angie, and Josh (Kim); and many other extended family members and dear friends.
At this time there will be no visitation and services for Jamie. Newcomer Funeral Home – Northwest Chapel, Toledo (419-473-0300) assisted the family with professional services.
