Tommy S. Andrzejczak, age 66, of Maumee passed away on Friday, June 17, 2022 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on November 15, 1955 to Stanislaw and Helena (Sawczenko) Andrzejczak, in Toledo. He was a graduate of Woodward High School, class of 1973, where he was co-captain of the cross-country team. Tom recently retired from the City of Maumee after nearly 17 years of service, ending his career spanning over 47 years of construction related work.

Tom was an avid Ohio State Football fan who loved fishing, going to Cedar Point with his kids, and spending time with his dogs, Lexi and Roxy. He loved traveling to the Upper Peninsula to enjoy the outdoors, spend time on the lake, and watch the seasons change. He was a skilled craftsman who could always be found lending a helping hand to friends and family.

Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Brandon (Liz) Andrzejczak and Derek Andrzejczak; daughter, Sarah Andrzejczak; step-daughter, Jennifer (Rob) Mathes; 4 grandchildren: Sloan, Finley, Joshua, and Zachary; sisters, Krystina Vallejo and Janina Andrzejczak; brother Zenon (Nancy) Andrzejczak; and his beloved dog, Lexi. He was preceded in death by his parents and K-9 companion Roxy.

Tom will be laid to rest Friday in Roth Cemetery following a private service at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Boulevard, Toledo, Ohio.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Tommy's memory.
