Marcia A. Wheeler, age 74, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, June 6, 2022 at St. Luke's Hospital. She was born July 19, 1947 in Toledo, Ohio to John and Arlene (Bailey) McWilliams. Marcia graduated from Whitmer High School, Class of 1965. As an adult, she worked as an Administrative Assistant at several local companies for more than 50 years.

Marcia was known for her love of shopping. She shopped for anything from everyday items to treasured antiques, primitive pieces, to beautiful and useful furniture and decorations. Marcia frequented craft shows, antique shops and more, bringing home many new finds to add to her beautiful home and surroundings. She also had an eye for jewelry, something her husband Bud enjoyed gifting her on many occasions.

Marcia was an avid cook, making many family favorites from Pennsylvania Dutch recipes passed down from her grandmother. More recently she enjoyed spending time at home on her deck appreciating her beautiful log home on their wooded acreage. She also loved and spoiled her fur babies over the years.

Most importantly, Marcia cherished the time spent with her family and friends, sharing stories and memories. Her warm smile and quick wit were infectious. Her sisters will always remember Marcia as their fun, feisty and outgoing middle sister.

Marcia was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Owen "Bud" Wheeler; sisters, Sandy Wasielewski and Sally (Steven Foore) McWilliams; nieces, Amy, Megan and McKayla; nephews, Chris, Chad and Rick; brothers-in-law, Eugene (Connie) Wheeler and Ralph Wheeler and many dear friends she came to know and love over the years.

At Marcia's request there will be no services. Instead, please consider making a contribution to the Toledo Lucas County Humane society in her memory.
