Crystal Fiallos, age 39, of Toledo, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at the Toledo Hospital. She was born on May 2, 1983 to Robert and Linda (Husband) Rowland Jr. in Fort Knox, Kentucky. Crystal was a graduate of the University of Toledo obtaining her degrees in Philosophy and Anthropology. She then went on to serve in the Peace Corp. where she traveled to Honduras and met the love of her life, Leonidas Fiallos. They were married on February 14, 2010 in Honduras and welcomed baby Amy Nicole in November of 2011. Her mission within the Peace Corp was to bring water to the communities, and once she completed this service she began teaching English for over 6 years. Crystal also translated for various medical professionals providing aid to folks in need. She was very giving and had a heart of gold. Crystal enjoyed gardening, traveling and was an avid reader. She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother and friend who put everyone and everything before herself. Crystal’s smile, spirit and caring nature will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Leonidas Fiallos; daughter, Amy Nicole Fiallos; dad, Robert (Anita) Rowland, Jr.; mom, Linda Psalmonds; in-laws, Roberto and Leida Fiallos; brother, Robert (Danielle) Rowland, III; step-brothers, Craig Rank, Dane (Jennifer) Rank and Dylan (Elisha) Rank; brothers-in-law, Ricardo (Ingrid), Fernando (Cindy) and Roberto (Anna Marie) Fiallos; sisters-in-law, Yessenia (Hiroyuki) Shibata and Teresa (Robert) Linsenman; best friend, Maryanne (Sean) Donigan; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews cousins and dear friends.

Visitation and Services will be Private for Crystal. Newcomer Funeral Home – Northwest Chapel, Toledo (419-473-0300) assisted the family with professional services.
