Madeline “Midge” Meyer, age 72, of Toledo, passed away Monday, January 3, 2022 at Flower Hospital. She was born on May 25, 1949 to Edmund and Martha Meyer in Toledo. Midge worked in payroll throughout her career, mainly at Supreme Bumpers and most recently at Tarta. She was an avid bowler, enjoyed camping and white water rafting and baking. Midge loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Her smile, spirit and caring nature will truly be missed by those who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Torgerson; siblings, Richard (Betty) Meyer, Ronald (Molly) Meyer, Mary Lou (Lee) Mitchell, Joanne (Raymond) Schwandt, and Shirley (Dave) Grow. Left to cherish her memory are her only son, Brian Meyer; grandsons, Brian (Arianna) Meyer, Jr. and Mason Meyer; great-grandchildren, Hadleigh and Bjorn; brother, Edmund (Janet) Meyer; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

A Celebration of Life to honor Midge will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the Salvation Army, 620 N. Erie St., Toledo, OH 43604.
