Patricia A. “Pat” Whitt, age 71, of Erie, MI, passed away Sunday, November 21, 2021 at Toledo Hospital. She was born on August 26, 1950 to Glen and Merle “Jackie” Pugh in Portsmouth, Ohio. Pat worked as a paraprofessional for 10 years at Erie Mason Consolidated Schools until retiring. She loved shopping and going out to eat with friends and family. Pat enjoyed baking, cooking and hosting holidays; you never left Pat’s home hungry. She was very social, and never met a stranger! If you met Pat, you had a friend for life. Her laugh was contagious and she had a smile that would light up a room! Pat’s greatest joy was her family, she loved nothing more than spending time with all of them, especially her grandchildren. Her smile, spirit and caring nature will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-son, Jay Ryan Whitt; and sister, Rebecca “Becky” Ramsey. Left to cherish Pat’s memory are her loving husband of 41 years, Bill Whitt; children, Michelle "Shelley" Flis, Monica (Tim) Pio, Bryan (Staci) Flis and Scott (Catherine) Whitt; grandchildren, Amanda, Andrea (Phil), Brianna, Megan, Zaven, Nathan, Ryan, Heather, Connor and Bennett; 6 great-grandchildren; siblings, Rick (Joetta) Pugh, Carol (Ed) Beil and Bob Pugh; brother-in-law, Al Whitt; sister-in-law, Joy Whitt; many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Sunday, November 28, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Monday, November 29, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
