Barbara Lee "Barb" Roman
1946 - 2021

Barbara Lee “Barb” Roman, age 75, of Toledo, passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at home. She was born on February 6, 1946 to Bernard and Dorothy (Quick) Faraone in Erie, Pennsylvania. Barb enjoyed gardening, sewing, shopping and traveling back home to Erie once she moved to Toledo. She was an excellent cook, especially of Italian foods. Barb was generous to a fault and had a heart of gold. She loved nothing more than spending time with family and all of her grandchildren. Barb’s smile, spirit and caring nature will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband who she missed terribly, Robert “Rocky” Roman; and grandson, Adam Roman. Left to cherish Barb’s memory are her loving children, Amelia “Amy” (David) Welch and Robert Roman; grandchildren, Brenna, David, Tony, Andrew, Arik, and Kirah; great-grandchildren, Lucy, Ella, Addison, Emma, and Izzy; siblings, Bernie (Laurette) Faraone, Ruthanne Faraone-Resch, Annamarie Faraone, Shawn Madewell, and Lee (Cindy) Madewell; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

There will be no visitation or services for Barb at this time, honoring her wishes. Newcomer Funeral Home, West Sylvania Chapel (419-392-9500) assisted the family with professional services.
