In Memory Of
Robert J. Wahl
1948 - 2021
Robert enjoyed the simple things in life and cherished moments with his family and countless friends. In his earlier years, he enjoyed sharing a round of golf with his many friends. He enjoyed his retirement years being able to go out often for meals at his favorite restaurants with his friends and family to catch up and do life together. Robert and his son, Chad, were inseparable and were truly best of friends. He was also extremely proud of his granddaughters, Haven and Avery, for the wonderful young women they have become and cherished all the time he had with them. Robert leaves a lasting legacy of commitment to family and friends that will stand the test of time.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Robert & Mary and reunited with the loves of his life: wife, Janet; and son, Chad. He is survived by his son, Brian (Breanna); brothers, Ernie (Linda) and Tim (Karen); sisters, Kathy (Manuel), Cheryl (Frank) and Sandy (Al); granddaughters, Haven and Avery; along with cousins, nieces and nephews too many to list.
The family would like to give special thanks to The Lakes of Monclova, Hospice of Northwest Ohio, UTMC doctors and staff and Scott Kazura who gave him the gift of extended life through kidney donation over 12 years ago.
A Celebration of Robert’s Life will be held Thursday, October 14, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at Newcomer SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900), the family will then continue to receive guests until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of memorial contributions the family asks that you consider making a contribution to your local church.
