Lodena M. Joseph, age 82, of Maumee, OH passed away September 22, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 27, 1938 in Lima, OH to Beecher Shepherd and Katie (Shepherd) Arnett. Lodena was employed by Cable and Wire in Swanton, OH and also served as Secretary at Cornerstone Church for over 30 years. A devout Christian and Prayer Warrior, Lodena had a heart of gold and love for God and loved being around her children and many grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Lodena was also preceded in death by her husband, Alfred H. Joseph; daughter, Diana Ehret; son, Darren Joseph; grandson, Timothy Joseph; 5 brothers and 2 sisters. Lodena is survived by her children, Doug Joseph, Kevin (Julia) Joseph and Julie (Lisa Simmons) Joseph; daughter-in-law, Trudi Joseph; son-in-law, Paul Ehret; 11 grandsons; 10 granddaughters; 9 great grandchildren; 4 sisters and one brother.

The family will receive guests Saturday, October 2, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Newcomer - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Saturday at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Bishop Michael Pitts. Burial will follow at Swanton Cemetery.

Lodena was blessed to have her daughter, Julie Kay, who devoted her time to provide loving care for her mother.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or Kind Hearts Hospice in Lodena's memory.
