Betty R. Langlois, age 88, of Sylvania, passed away peacefully Friday, September 10, 2021 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio surrounded by loving family. She was born August 12, 1933 to Ray and Pearl Hoskins in Florence, Arizona. Betty was a cook for many years retiring from St. Vincent’s Mercy Hospital. She was an avid reader, enjoyed crocheting and doing crosswords. Betty enjoyed the family get-togethers at her daughter’s homes.
She was preceded in death by her parents. Betty is survived by her husband of 65 years, Charles Langlois; children, Laura (Roger) Mitchell, Lisa (Leland) Proshek and Mark Langlois; grandchildren, Michael (Christine), Christy (Kevin), Ryan (Andrea), Brandon, Bridgette, Ramon, Katrina, Alexandrea “Lexie”, and Raymond; great-grandchildren, Nathan, Preston, and Giovanni; brothers, David and Tommy (Judy) Hoskins.
There will be no visitation or services for Betty honoring her wishes. Newcomer Funeral Home, Toledo (419-473-0300) assisted the family with professional services.
