Andrea Michael, age 63, resident of Toledo, Ohio, passed away at home, on Wednesday, July 27, 2021. She was born on June 22, 1958, in Hockenheim, Germany, to Heinz and Lisa (Erb) Geiss.

Andrea came over to the U.S. in 1984 and became a citizen in 1989. Andrea continued her education at Davis College, receiving her Associates Degree in medical billing and coding. With her love for art, she enjoyed glass blowing and volunteering at the Toledo Museum. Andrea loved the outdoors; she enjoyed taking walks and doing other activities outside. Most of all, Andrea loved and cherished her family, friends, and her pets. Family was most important to her, especially her grandchildren. She will forever be missed.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Vanessa Garcia, Pamela Garcia, Thomas Garcia, Tyler Barrett, and Kelsee Barrett; grandchildren, Justin, Alyssa, Ethan, Braylon, Devin, Zoeie, Caden, and Aiden; sisters, Manuela and Sylvia; mother-in-law, Marnette Cunningham; and former husband, CT Michael, and former husband, Tom Garcia Sr.

Andrea was preceded in passing by her mother, Lisa Geiss; and brother, Udo Geiss.
