Thomas attended the Ohio School of the Deaf and was a dedicated member of the Toledo Deaf Club. He had worked at General Motors and retired after 30 years. Thomas enjoyed camping, gardening, and taking rides on his Harley Davidson. A dedicated family man, he loved and cherished the time spent with his family; he was a great provider, always taking care of his family; family was number one in his life. Thomas was a loveable jokester with a great sense of humor; he liked to put a smile on everyone’s face. He was a fighter and warrior till the very end. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Those left to forever cherish his memory are his loving wife of 31 years, Pamela Sheree (Stremmel) Davis, whom he married on June 9, 1990; children, Amy (Kevin) Kipker, Ben “Bitty” Davis, Jennifer (Robert) Sullivan; sister, Brenda Karnowski; brother-in-laws, Scott and Todd Stremmel; grandchildren, Anysa (Patrick) Masters, MaKenzie (Jake) Clark, Dustin Cowden, Ava and Tyler Sullivan, Kayla (Korey) Price, Chelsie Kipker; and a great granddaughter, Kallie Price.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Luann Cowden; son, Paul Davis; and a brother, Richard (Peggy) Davis.
Family and friends may visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Road, Toledo, Ohio 43623, on Friday, July 30, 2021, from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Visitation will continue on Saturday, July 31, 2021, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm, where the funeral service will be at 1:00 pm.
