Philip M. Bernard, age 78, of Toledo, passed away July 19, 2021 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Toledo. He was born March 2, 1943 in Toledo to Charles Bernard and Virginia Bernard-Grabenstetter. Phil graduated from Whitmer High School in 1961. He was employed at Libbey Owens Ford for over 30 years, retiring in 1995. Phil and wife, Joyce enjoyed traveling especially taking cruises, loved spending time at Sand Lake and Posey Lake and watching the Stock Market.

Phil is survived by his wife of 56 years, Joyce A. Bernard; sisters, Diana (Larry) Sengstock and Roberta Hogan.

The family will receive guests Friday, July 23, 2021 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Newcomer - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

The family would like to thank the nurses at Hospice of Northwest Ohio for their loving care of Phil.
