David M. McGee, age 51, of Toledo passed away Thursday July 15, 2021 at home. He was born on July 27, 1969 in Toledo, OH. He attended DeVilbiss High School. David was an avid sports fan of basketball and football; especially the Pittsburgh Steelers, Michigan Wolverines and the LA Lakers. He enjoyed rock and heavy metal music, KISS and Van Halen being two of his favorites. David recently found a love of playing cornhole. He was ornery, had a sense of humor and was a jokester. David loved nothing more than spending time with his family, sitting around in the backyard, having a beer and listening to music. His smile, spirit and caring nature will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his dad, Walter Mullins; and sister, Sasha Mullins. Left to cherish David’s memory are his loving mom, Sandy Mullins; siblings, Tracey (Don) Alsept, Chris (Lori) Graczyk, and Natasha (Mike) Reinhart; brother from another mother, Raymond (Jacquel) Klekamp; special sister, Chanta Williams; nieces and nephews, Ashley (Mike) Shriley, Kaitlyn Graczyk, Joseph Graczyk, Xavier, Zakary and Zoey Reinhart; 1 great-nephew; 1 great-niece; and many cousins and dear friends too numerous to mention.
The family will receive guests on Sunday, July 25, 2021 from 12 – 4:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo, OH (419-473-0300).
