Earl A. (Thomas) Nowak
Earl was born May 4, 1938 to Harold and Eleanor (Grimm) Thomas at Mt Pleasant PA.
Earl was adopted at a later date by George Nowak.
Earl graduated from Libbey high school in 1956, was employed 36 years by the former Gerity-Schultz Corp. and retired in 2001.
Served 8 years with the Navy reserve and was discharged in 1963.
He was a past advisor with Junior Achievement and past member of the Toledo Roadrunners, past UAW and Teamster member.
A member of Lewis Avenue Baptist Church since 1980, a past usher and Sunday school teacher.
Earl enjoyed fishing, gardening, playing his violin, painting, reading his sci-fi novels, and enjoying all of his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Carol (Rozanski) Nowak; brother, Daun (Sue) Nowak; children, Lisa Nowak-Clark, Shannon (Thomas) Griffin, Veronica (Rick) Yancy, Leah (Steve) Worley; and 16 grandchildren

Family and friends may gather at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Road, Toledo, Ohio 43623, on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue on Thursday, July 22, 2021 from 9:30 am until the time of the funeral service at 10:30 am, with Pastor Steve Hobbins officiating.
