He was a professional Chef for more than 22 years. Clyde moved to a Sebring, Ohio to raise his family and work with his sister operating Tall Oaks Catering for many years. He returned to Toledo in 2008 to be closer to family. Clyde was always excited to be the Chef in charge of all his family weddings and events over the years. In his free time he became an expert marksman enjoying shooting at several area ranges.
Clyde was a loving husband, father and grandfather cherishing time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren. He will also be remembered for his storytelling skills, he always knew just the right words and often brought his family and friends to smiles and laughter.
In addition to his parents, Clyde was also preceded in death by his daughter, Rachel Rose and several extended family members. He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Edna Sharp; daughter, Audrey (Brad) Jennings; grandchildren, Brody Clyde and Grace Rachel; siblings, Karen, Jennie, Ocie, Rodney and Craig and the entire Barrera Family.
The family will receive guests Tuesday, May 4, 2021 from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer, Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home with burial following at Toledo Memorial Park.
The Sharp Family would like to thank the Staff of Hospice of NW Ohio, Perrysburg for the loving are and support they provided to Clyde during this very difficult time.
