Ralph E. Hayner, Jr., age 66, of Sylvania, passed away suddenly on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at his home. He was born on July 24, 1954 to Ralph Sr. and Carol (Hefner) Hayner in Toledo, OH. Ralph worked for Mason Consolidated Schools for 20 years before retiring. He enjoyed traveling, listening to music especially Bette Midler, Barbara Streisand and Adele. Ralph had a love of animals, classic movies and anything Marilyn Monroe. He was a devoted son, brother and uncle who loved spending time with his family. Ralph’s smile, spirit and caring nature will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his mother and step-father Carol and Varon Kindt. Left to cherish Ralph’s memory are his brother, Wayne (Sandy) Hayner; sisters, Tami (Ron) Stefko, Tracey (Chris) Wehner and Rose Ann Hibner; father, Ralph E. Hayner. Sr.; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Per the family's wishes all services and visitation will be private at Newcomer Funeral Home - West Sylvania Chapel, 3655 King Rd., Toledo, OH (419-392-9500).
