Samara Caroline Braun, age 23, of Toledo, passed away Saturday, March 27, 2021 at McClaren St. Luke's Hospital, Maumee. She was born May 1, 1997 in Toledo to parents, Kevin Braun and Stephanie (Gumtow) Crampton. Samara graduated from Lake High School, Class of 2015 and went on to attend PSI, graduating in 2019 with her Medical Assistant Degree. She just started her career as a Medical Assistant at Arrowhead Podiatry.

Samara was a loving and devoted daughter, sister and caring friend. She had a warm smile and a welcoming personality. Samara made people laugh with her silly jokes and her famous little known "fun facts". She was very intelligent and loved learning.

When Samara entered a room she brightened everything around her. She always had a kind word or a funny story to share. Samara will be remembered for her big heart and willingness to give of herself to others. She truly loved her family. Samara was so proud of her brothers and sisters, cherishing the time they spent together.

There are many memories Samara’s family will continue to hold in their hearts and minds like the trips to Disney World, Myrtle Beach and California with her Dad and the many shopping trips with her Mom. Samara wanted nothing more than to love her family and see them happy in every way.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Michael Hyslop and uncle, Charlie Gumtow. Samara is survived by her mother, Stephanie Crampton; father, Kevin (Megan) Braun; siblings, Devin, Tyler, Brookelyn and Reagan and grandparents, Margarita Hyslop and Thomas and Armine Braun. Her memory will also be cherished by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

The family will receive guests Friday, April 2, 2021 from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Saturday at 10:30 am. at the funeral home with interment following at Calvary Cemetery.
