Bill enjoyed camping, fishing and sports of any kind. He was also proud to have been a coach for the Greenwood Knights baseball. Bill was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns, the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Detroit Tigers cheering them on to many wins over the years. He was also proud of his Cherokee Indian heritage.
Family was very important to Bill and he cherished the time they spent together, whether it was celebrating the holidays, special occasions or good old family cook-outs.
Bill was strong and dependable in his beliefs and desire to be there and help those who needed him. Bill had a generous and giving heart and was lovingly called "Dad" or "Papa" by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, Bill was also preceded in death by his brothers, John Miller and Jimmie Miller; brother-in-law, David Truelove, in-laws, Benjamin and Lois Fetterly sister-in-law, Sandy Turk.
He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Cindy L. (Fetterly) Miller; son, Ryan (Heather) Fetterly; daughters, Carrie (Jeff) Many, Vicki (Keith) Cantu and Billie Miller; grandchildren, Alexandria, Lianna, Ryan, Nicholas, Adan, Devin, Liam, Harmony and Anneliese; great grandchildren, Adrina, Avery and Phoenix; siblings, Thomas (J.K.) Miller, Ron (Dianne) Miller, Ruth (Ken) Sobiniak, Joe (Pennie) Miller, Cindy (Mike) Blaesing, Dan (Beth) Miller, Joy Truelove, Debbie (Ray) Penick, Tommy Miller, Tim (Kassie) Miller and Candy (Gary) Jackson. Bill's memory will also be cherished by many nieces, nephews, lifelong friends and extended family members.
The family will receive guests Thursday, March 4, 2021 from 11: am - 6:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Thursday at 6:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the family.
