Brooklyn Jane Smith, born February 14, 2006, age 15, passed into the lords arms with her loving family by her side on Saturday February 20th 2021 after a lifelong battle with Cerebral Palsy and epilepsy.

Brooklyn was a seventh grade student at Timberstone Jr. High. Everyone who knew Brooklyn could feel her warmth and beauty. Her smile could light up a room. Brooklyn loved all life had to offer, but especially enjoyed listening to music and playing with her brothers and sisters. Marley, Mason, and Bailey were very close to their big sister. They always made sure Brooklyn was comfortable and warm with her favorite fuzzy blankets. They loved singing to Brooklyn, holding her hands, and bringing her toys, making sure she was always involved. Rae, her big sister, loved spending time with Brooklyn, painting her nails and pampering her. Brooklyn was very close to her mother, Tammy. Snuggling with her mom on the couch after long days of excitement with her family and friends was very relaxing for Brooklyn. Brooklyn was a major part of her families life and will be greatly missed but not forgotten.

Brooklyn is survived by her parents Tamara and Melvin; grandparents, Jerry and Susan Smith; Pauline Featchurs; brothers Marley and Mason; sisters Rae and Bailey; many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Brooklyn is preceded in death by nephew, Julian; aunts, Becky and Teara Smith; as well as many other family members.

Friends and family and visit at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 West Laskey Road, Toledo, Ohio 43623, on Saturday, February 27, 2021, from 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm, where the Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm, with Father Dave Nuss officiating.
