Jeffrey "Jeff" R. Prowant age 57 passed away on January 8th, 2021 surrounded by his family. Jeff was born to Jerry and Patricia Prowant on November 19th, 1963.

He graduated from Woodward High School in 1982. He cherished spending time with his kids and grandkids, family was the most important thing in his life. He had an avid love for fishing, cornhole, and sitting outside in the sunshine enjoying good music. He was also a die hard Dolphins fan, (Giddy up)! He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Juanita Prowant. Within hours of Jeff gaining his wings his father, Jerry Prowant, joined him in heaven.

He is survived by his mother, Patricia Prowant; step-mother, Becky Prowant; son, Jacob (Katie) Harris; daughter, Chelsey (JJ) Miller; sisters, Michelle Prowant (Wayne), Amy (Tom) Kretzmar; brothers, Jamey Prowant, Jeremy (Elizabeth) Prowant; his 6 grandchildren, Mckenzie, Mckennzie, Colton, Adilynn, Maizie, and Olivia. Many nieces and nephews, along with close family and best friends.

Please join us in the celebration of his life on Saturday, January 16th, 2021 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3655 King Rd. Toledo, OH 43617. The service will be held at 3:00p.m. with a restriction (due to Covid19) of immediate family and friends. We invite all else who knew and loved Jeff to join us and pay their respects from 4:00p.m.-6:00p.m. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cincinnati Children's Hospital.
