In Memory Of
James Albert "Jim" Rovito
1939 - 2021

James (Jim) Albert Rovito, age 81, resident of Temperance, Michigan, passed away to be with our Lord, on January 8, 2021, at the Toledo Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on March 7, 1939, in Toledo, Ohio, to Ralph and Gladys (Bauchman) Rovito.

He worked at Roadway Inc., where he retired in 2001, where he received the Million Miles Plus Safe Driving Award. He was a hard worker and continued driving for Fastrack Trucking and Morrin Farms, until his illness forced him to stop. He was diagnosed with Leukemia 3 years ago, at that time, he was told he only had weeks to live. God had other plans for Jim; his family was blessed to have him with us another 3 years. During this time, he was baptized and began his walk with the Lord. Jim enjoyed fishing and spending time at his second home at Catawba Island, where he loved having fish fry's with family and friends.

Those left to forever cherish his memory are his loving wife of 57 years, Patricia Lou (Tressler); children, Gina (John) Nusbaum, Regina (Dave) Hall, John Evanoff, Mick (Pam) Rovito; 11 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; a special niece, Kristi (Bud) Rogers; and 2 nephews.

In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by a sister, Toni Hall; 2 sons, Ronald Rovito and Jack Dailey; a daughter, Mary Ann Dailey Vasquez and great grandson, Zayne.

The family would like to thank all of the employees at Toledo Clinic Cancer Center, on Holland Sylvania, for your loving care towards Jim. Also, a special thank you to Jim's granddaughter, LizAnn (Jerry) for all their support and loving care you gave.
