Gene Crawford, age 63, of Monclova, OH passed away January 7, 2021 unexpectedly at home. He was born April 10, 1957 in Toledo to Cecil and Betty (Tilley) Crawford. Gene was a 1975 graduate of Whitmer High School. He was employed with Supreme Bumpers for 25 years and also Graham Packaging for more than 18 years. Gene was an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast. He was a Cleveland Browns, University of Michigan and Detroit Tigers fan. Gene enjoyed woodworking, but most importantly spending time with his family.

Gene is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Sue Crawford; mother, Barbara Crawford; children, Gina (Scott) Erdman, Amy (John) Townes and Nick (Christine) Crawford; grandchildren, John Townes, Joshua Townes, Emily Townes, Emma Townes and Jace Crawford; great-granddaughter, Evelynn Townes; grand-dogs, “Sampson,” “Petey” and “Cash;” sister, Terri Crawford and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

The family will receive guests Sunday, January 10, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Newcomer - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral services will be private.
