Marcia L. (Lada) Tishler, 77, of Maumee, Ohio has gone to be with Our Lord on January 10, 2020. Marcia was born the only child of Edward and Teresa (Siemeroski) Lada on September 24, 1942 in Toledo, Ohio. She married Arthur Tishler in 1982 and they remained married for 37 years. Arthur preceded her death, just 20 days earlier.
Marcia graduated from Central Catholic High School, Toledo, Ohio and Mary Manse College, Toledo, Ohio, where she completed her bachelor degree for education in 1964. She taught at St. Hyacinth Elementary for 20 years and Our Lady of Perpetual Help Elementary. Later in life, she resumed work at Valley Farm Foods, where she had met Arthur.
Marcia was an accomplished piano player and greatly enjoyed recitals. Marcia took daily walks at Side Cut Park with Art and her furry companion, Eddie, whom she loved like a child. Throughout the years, she had lots of laughs and memories with her many cousins in the Toledo Area.
Marcia was cherished and beloved, survived by her step-children, Debbie Morlock of Napoleon, Ohio, Doreen Bateson of Bowling Green, Ohio, and Kevin (Kim) Tishler of Toledo, Ohio; grandchildren, Brian, Sara, Amanda, Aaron, Cassie, Chase, and Cole; and great-grandchildren, Carter, Ty, and Clara.
Due to COVID-19, the family will have a Celebration of Life for Marcia at a later date.
