LeRoy C. Johnson Sr., age 79, of Toledo, passed away at home on July 23, 2020 surrounded by his family. LeRoy was born May 10, 1941 in Dover Twp., MI to Kenneth and Mabel (Cole) Johnson. He married the love of his life, Mary Ann Johnson, on September 12, 1959 in Kentucky. Family was most important to LeRoy, he enjoyed cookouts and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In his free time LeRoy enjoyed swap meets and classic cars. LeRoy was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed deer hunting.

In addition to his parents, LeRoy was also preceded in death by siblings, Dean Johnson and Carolyn Johnson. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 60 years, Mary Ann Johnson; children, LeRoy C. (Cindy) Johnson, Jr., Dale (Diane) Johnson, Kimberly (Spencer) York, Dana Johnson, James (Brandy) Johnson, Vicki Johnson, Corey (Julie) Johnson and Lorie (John) Harris, 29 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren, canine companion, Elvis; along with nieces, nephews and extended family.

The family will receive guests Monday, July 27, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will be held privately.
