In Memory Of
Charles P. "Chuck" Smith
1962 - 2020

Charles “Chuck” P. Smith, age 57, of Lambertville passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at home. He was born in Texas on August 24, 1962 to Margaret Smith. Moving to the area in 1974, he graduated from Bedford High School in 1980. Shortly after graduation, Chuck married the love of his life, Lisa Kinsey on May 26, 1982. Together they had nearly 38 years of a fairytale-like marriage. Lisa Ann, Justin, and Jennifer were born from their wedded bliss. Chuck loved his family and spending time at the lake with them was one of his favorite things to do.

Everyone who met chuck loved him. His personality, smile, and bright blue eyes could light up even the darkest of rooms. The number of dear friends he had proved that he was the kindest of souls.

Chuck was employed by the Local 8 for the past 20 years. He loved being an electrician and took every opportunity he had to teach something new to an apprentice. He made several of his closest friends this way.

Left to honor and cherish his memory are his loving wife, Lisa; children, Lisa Ann (Randy Lammers) Swint, Justin (Jennifer) Smith, and Jennifer (Raymond) Nusbaum; grandchildren, Easton, Emerson and Brody Swint, Dakota and Braden Smith, Charles and Lydia Nusbaum; mother, Margaret Smith; mother-in-law, Suzanne Kinsey; sisters, Donna (Scott) Warford, Lori (Justin) Sheets, and a host of friends and relatives.

The family will receive guests from 2-6:00 p.m. at Newcomer - Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300) on Wednesday, May 27, 2020.

In lieu of flowers, please continue to reach out to Chuck's family to offer comforting words and prayers at this time.
