Bobetta “Bobbi” Rose, age 68, of Toledo, passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at Divine Health and Rehab surrounded by loving family. She was born on May 1, 1951 to Cleotha and Everett Barnett in Scottsburg, Indiana. Bobbi worked at Heartland Holly Glen as a STNA for many years before retiring. She loved animals especially dogs. Bobbi enjoyed baking, gardening, crocheting and cross-stitching. She loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Bobbi’s smile and spirit will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Warren Barnett. Bobbi is survived by her husband, Gene Rose; sons, Jon (Bonnie) Barnett and Matthew (JoAnne) Eckhart; grandchildren, Anthony (Mary) Halsey, Nicholas (Cheyenne) Barnett, Tatiana Barnett, and Aidan Eckhart; great-grandchildren, Hannah, Gabriel, Cayla and Renesmee; siblings, Gary Barnett, Vickie Taynor, and Leigh Ann Barnett; former spouse and friend, Marvin (Rebecca) Eckhart; best friend, Cindy Covington; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

There will be no visitation or services for Bobbi per her wishes. Inurnment will be held privately in her hometown of Austin, IN at a later date. The Newcomer Funeral Home – Southwest Chapel (419-381-1900) assisted the family with professional services.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider The Toledo Humane Society or any animal organization helping animals.
