Amber Marie Fafard, age 33, of Holland, OH passed away peacefully after a long courageous battle with cancer January 7, 2020 at her home. She was born April 16, 1986 in Sylvania, OH to Angela Sheets. Amber was a 2004 graduate of Springfield High School. She was employed with the Yark Automotive Group for more than 5 years. Amber loved her husband, her family, her dogs and was very creative. She was an avid thrifter, with a great personality and contagious laugh that lit up any room. Amber was a very strong and positive person who fought all the way up to the end.

Amber is survived by her loving husband and best friend, Justin Fafard; momma, Angela Sheets; sisters, Nicole (Brian) Thomson and Kirsten (Benito) Martinez; niece, Norah Thomson; brother-in-law, Jeremy Reuling; sister-in-law, Jessica Reuling, sister-in-law, Joelle (Gage) Stoler; mother-in-law, Josee Reuling; father-in-law, Mel Reuling; grandfather, Anthony (Sue) Sheets; aunts, Claudine (Jeff) Strayer and Andrea (Nick) Sancraint; cousins, Jordan Strayer, Elijah Strayer, McKenna Sancraint, Addyson Sancraint and Camdyn Sancraint; and her beloved dog/child “Iris.” Amber was preceded in death by her grandmother, Carol Sheets and dog “Zeus.”

The family will receive guests Sunday, January 12, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at Newcomer - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Sunday at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
