Judith “Judy” Elgin, age 75, of Temperance, MI, passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at The Toledo Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 9, 1943 to Lester and Martha Lyons. Judy enjoyed camping, crafting and playing Bingo. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. Judy’s smile and spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne; son, Robert “Bobby” Elgin; and twin sister, Joanie. Judy is survived by her loving daughters, Tammy (Edward) Findlay, Lori Gates (Robert) and Bridget (Wesley) Gipson; grandchildren, Ashley, Steven (Samantha), Wesley (Jackie), Tyler (Danielle), Paige (Dempsey) and Derek; great-grandchildren, Jordan and Paisley; best friends, Vern and Diane Randolph and their family.
There will be no visitation for Judy per her wishes. She will buried at Forest Cemetery next to her husband at a later date. Newcomer – Northwest Chapel, 419-473-0300 assisted the family with professional services.
