Elizabeth Ann Sams, age 79, of Toledo, passed away September 9, 2019 at Lutheran Village at Wolfcreek. Elizabeth was born February 8, 1940 in Savannah, GA to Edward and Marguerite (Hughes) Meyer. She was a self employed beautician for over 50 years and owned Liz's Beauty Salon. She enjoyed having and going to garage sales looking for antiques. Her grandchildren were very important to her and she enjoyed cooking for her family.

In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was also preceded in death by her great great grandson Christian.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Peggy Heckert, son, Edward (Roberta) Price, sisters; Linda (Steve-deceased) Stevenson, Margaret (Mark) Higgins, Vicki (Frank) Thomas, Melissa Zahn, granddaughters, Michele Hunt and Corie Stover, grandsons; Charles (Amanda) Heckert, Robert Heckert, Ed (Kristin) Price, Ryan (Linsey) Price, Andrew Price, Matthew Price, 16 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.

The family will receive guests Thursday, September 12, 2019 from 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Thursday at 6:00 pm. in the funeral home.
