Anne Marie Markwood, age 52, passed away peacefully Sunday, August 11, 2019 surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was born on January 27, 1967. Anne was an amazing sister, aunt and friend. She was bigger than life, her laugh and smile were infectious. Anne was an extremely talented hairstylist. When she wasn’t working she loved being with family and friends. Anne absolutely loved going to Las Vegas. She will forever live on in our hearts and be missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jeanne Markwood and Howard Markwood. Anne is survived by her loving brother, Thomas J. (Brandi) Markwood; nieces, Callie Jean and Morgan; aunt, Nancy (Jerry) Elchert; cousins, Jeff Elchert, Kathy (Jim) Schuster, Scott (Leisha) Elchert, Bev Walbom and Dave (Tammy) Walbom; her very best friend, Matt Morris, and his mother, Linda Ginter aka Mom Linda.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Parish, 4201 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo, OH 43614.

A Celebration of Anne’s life will also be held on Friday, August 23, 2019 from 5 – 12:00 a.m. at The Bunker Bar, 1950 S. Eber Rd., Holland, OH 43528. Please wear something red that night, in honor of Anne.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make memorial contributions in honor of Anne are asked to consider Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
