Keith Franklin, age 47, passed away suddenly Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at the Toledo Hospital. He was born on December 1, 1975 to Thomas and Jenny (Short) Franklin in Toledo. Keith was the owner/operator of Glass City Commercial Cleaning for 15 years. He was one of the hardest working men you would ever meet. Keith loved the outdoors, camping and 4-wheeling. He liked playing cards, especially poker and euchre. Keith had a huge heart, was the most generous soul and would help anyone in need. He was a family man, wasn’t shy and looked forward to a good time. Keith’s sense of humor, infectious smile and caring spirit is truly going to be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Left to cherish Keith’s memory are his loving son, Reese Franklin; parents, Thomas and Jenny Franklin; siblings, Christa (Dan) Weible, Jeff Franklin and Jason (Lee) Lowe; fiancé, Cristina Varner; and her children, Kendall, Cameron and Kennedy; canine companions, Rocky and Gracie; niece and nephews, Darren Franklin, Hailee Franklin and Kyle Franklin; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Friday, February 3, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) with Funeral Services beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home.

Those wishing to make memorial contributions in honor of Keith are asked to consider St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
