Patrick Michael Scott, age 68, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on November 30, 2022, at The Toledo Hospital. He was born on October 14, 1954, in Toledo, to the late James and Mary (Szmanski) Scott.
Pat graduated from Central Catholic High School, class of 1972. He worked as a dock worker for Roadway Express for 32 years, where he retired. Pat enjoyed fishing, watching sports, especially the Tigers, Lions, and Ohio State football. He loved to travel with his wife, a few places being Vegas, Smokey Mountains, Myrtle Beach and North Carolina. Most important, family was number one in Pat’s eyes. The memories they were all able to make together will be something his family will remember forever. His smile and love will forever be missed. It’s not goodbye, it’s see you later…
Those left to forever cherish his memory are his loving wife, Lynn (Tornai) Scott, whom he married on December 19, 1975; three children, Jody (Bob) Horak, Jennifer (Chad) Starnes, and Laura Scott (Elvis); six grandchildren, Emmalee, Avery, Dylan, Cameron, Shane, and Audrey; three siblings, Christopher (Christine) Scott, Deborah (Dave) Loy, and Peter Scott; brother and sister-in-laws, Steve Tornai, Mark (Carlene) Tornai, Lori (Ken) Jamison, and JJ Tornai; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Pat was preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law, Steve and Shirley Tornai; brother-in-law, Larry Tornai; and a sister-in-law, Sandra Tornai.
A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
