1947 - 2022

Dee Raymond LaFine, age 75, of Maumee, OH, passed away June 30, 2022 at St. Luke's Hospital. Dee was born January 11, 1947 in Kankakee, IL to Adrian and Lena (Guttendorf) LaFine. He graduated from Kankakee High School in 1965. He voluntarily joined the US Air Force right after high school, serving in the Vietnam War. He was employed with Ford Motor Company and retired after 30 years of service. Dee was a member of Calvary Church in Maumee, OH and a member of American Legion, South Wilmington Sportsman Club, Adams Conservation Club, Mericle Farley Trout Club, VFW, and NRA. He was an avid fisherman and hunter.

In addition to his parents, Dee was also preceded in death by his brothers, Kenneth, Adrian “Swede”, Melvin and Marvin LaFine; grandson, Michael Price. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Marcia M. LaFine; daughters, Shari Price, Jodi LaFine, Julie (Monty) Parks and Erica Adamski; grandchildren, Brandon (Olivia) LaFine, Hayden (Maggie) Burton, Marissa Platt, Sean Price, Jesse Schoen, Jacob (Kelsey) Wagner, Maxwell Klaman, Bailey Arnold, Cameron Adamski; great-grandchildren, Joseph LaFine, Madisen Platt, Gavin Okonski, Isabella LaFine, Bristol Wagner, Axton Burton, Kennedy Wagner, Isla LaFine, Dallas Pierce; sisters, Arliss DeYoung, Joan Boudreau, Linda (Dan) Grace; and a host of family, friends, and fishing/hunting buddies.

A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, July 7, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Church, 1360 Conant Street, Maumee, OH 43537 with Pastor Chris McCormick officiating, a luncheon will follow at 12:00 p.m. at the Calvary Church.

Memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Church, Veterans Administration Fisher House in Dee's memory.
