Lowell T. Leach, Sr., age 75, of Toledo, passed away peacefully Monday, May 9, 2022 at home with loving family by his side. He was born on February 27, 1947 to Arlie and Linda (Sharp) Leach in Jellico, Tennessee. Lowell was a truck driver throughout his career retiring in 1991. He married the love of his life, Mary on May 7, 1973 in Jellico, TN. Lowell enjoyed a cold beer, fishing, hunting and working on cars. He was an avid lottery player, especially scratch offs.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Mary; son, William McClanahan; and 7 brothers and 1 sister. Left to cherish his memory are his loving children, Thelma (Edd Jr.) Davis, Lowell (Jackie) Leach, Jr., Malinda Benarth, William Leach and Maegan Leach; 14 grandchildren, Aaron, Brookelyn, Heaven, Alisha, Tommy, David, Lowell “Baby”, Kailey, Niqole, Damion, Halie, Andrew, Skyler, and Grayson; 6 great-grandchildren, Mackenzi, Makayla, Olivia, Liam, Rhett and Dallas; siblings, Delbert Leach, Ray (Shirley) Leach and Carl Leach; and many nieces and nephews.

Private Family Services for Lowell will be held. Newcomer Funeral Home – Northwest Chapel (419-473-0300) assisted the family with professional services.
