In Memory Of
Boyde Lee Shoup
1954 - 2022

On January 18 Boyde left this life to go to his final resting place with Juno and Sandy. He was born on August 11, 1954 to the late Lloyd Shoup, Sr. and Grace (Anderson) Shoup. Boyde was a graduate of Anthony Wayne High School. He served his country in the Air Force and National Guard. He worked at Simplex for many years and then worked at The University of Toledo as a fire alarm technician. Boyde was an avid gardener and loved working and being out in the yard with his best friends, his beloved dogs Juno and Sandy. If he wasn’t in his own yard, he was at a neighbors helping anyway he could. He was an all-around handy man who always had a project going and could fix or build just about anything and if he couldn’t he would invent something that worked even better.

Boyde was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Marty Miller and Cindy Shoup; and his brother, Lloyd Jr. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 29years Dolores Shoup; his daughter Brittany (Andy) Smith; his son Dana (Susan) Shoup; grand and great grandchildren; his brothers Floyd (Vicky) and Wesley (Virginia) Shoup; and sisters JoAnn Bucher and Billie Rupp; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive guests Thursday, January 27, 2022 from 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900).
